AFRICAN VOICES LEADERSHIP MEETING SERIES – Speaking Out: One African Voice on Ebola
The recent outbreak of EVD in West Africa has caused tremendous suffering among the local population, and highlighted the need to for novel, effective and accessible treatment options.
As a first, yet crucial, step, a high-level meeting of decision makers was held in Dakar (Senegal) on 19 and 20 January 2015, to express a strong commitment to the fight against Ebola and other emerging infections, across all borders and with one strong voice.
